My name is Bruce Turner, I have deep roots in music, the creative industries and music education. As well as performing and releasing music professionally I have directed courses to post graduate level in music production. I founded Bristol Guitar Lessons (2004), and more recently Flowstates (2025) as education platforms.
Some of my achievements have been: multimillion streaming success with Paper Dragon. Performing internationally at major venues and festivals (such as Maida Vale, Brixton Academy, Glastonbury Festival, 1xtra Bass Awards); Collaborating with some great artists (i.e. Massive Attack, TC, Paper Dragon, Banco De Gaia) Securing record deals with Universal, Sentric, SATV and numerous TV placements with compositions (BBC, Channel 4, Discovery); building curriculums and lecturing at post-graduate level at dBs Institute of Sound; publishing academic articles in music. I have taught at many levels, ages and abilities (from 4 – 80 year olds, and from beginner to post graduate level).
